Our Normalness

We have been born into an evolving civilization. Our civilization is on a planet we call Earth, the only earth thus far. We live in ways that our species has come to think as normal. Especially to the ones who never thought to ask how others live outside of their group. Trapped in our minds with current convenience, we are in a world becoming more tech/social in areas while other parts of our world struggle to have a time to be social. This is only part of our ongoing cycle, not knowing what to do, other than what we were taught, and before most understand our ways are repeated over and over, creating a destructive way for many, and a controlling profit for few. Most succumb to the trauma and stress created from routine normality and day to day living. These lifestyles have emerged from being told our ways are more convenient. To what cost, can we even imagine? We then reflect and deserve the right that plagues our selfish centered lives, to complain, waste, and treat ourselves and others in (somehow) socially acceptable but unacceptable ways. Most, but not all lives are filled with the misfortune of this flawed life-style, centered on ourselves, immediate satisfaction, not our future, causing blind selfishness and a competition for financial freedom, this being a must in most of our eyes before we can help. Our time becomes a trap and an excuse before we can address or accept the real issues at hand. We grow tired and beat, before we can sustain a must need change. We have current problems from past issues that have never been addressed responsibly from our leader’s ongoing mistakes. Alarmingly our children know better in their minds, until they too become lost in this grown-up confusion. Decisions are now financial problems, and we wait for these leaders to figure them out, being convinced our budget is what makes decisions for us, and not our will to live and love.
